Liverpool Station
Liverpool station is the project that looks for the potential development of suburban city of Sydney in 30 years. In resonance with the core armatures’ development of Liverpool, The station is intent to be developed as an urban junction that connects not only urban anchors but each individual’s life. The activation of accessibility from the station to its hinterland enables social resources to be sufficiently mobilized. The station itself is an urban gateway for floods of arriving and departing passengers who generally experience it in passing. Hence it comes to design for people’s dwell time of standing, waiting and gazing in the station. Accordingly, a series of related activities such as commercial behaviours, cultural activities and station services come about and serve along passengers’ journey. These services cooperate with its neighbours in the city, in which a closely linked urban relationship between train station and the context could be created.
